Fiesta San Antonio started in 1891 as a one parade event to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. Since then it has grown into one of biggest festivals with an economic impact of millions of dollars and celebrates the city’s rich and diverse cultures. It is called
a party with a purpose because it raises funds for non-profits around the city.
