Each month, Hiatus Spa + Retreat creates special “Monthly Retreat” packages for customers to escape their daily routines and enjoy unique body treatments that end with a specialty cocktail. The upcoming monthly retreats include Black Magic in October, Abundance in November and Solstice in December. (Hiatus Spa + Retreat, 2018)

October Monthly Retreat: Black Magic
80 minutes. $195 | $128 h-circle
Make time for a little magic this October with the detoxifying Black Tea and Charcoal Body Experience. Fragrant Black Tea joins forces with Activated Charcoal and Organic Sugar to create a gentle full-body polish. Afterwards, a warm body wrap using a potent triple-clay Masque with Activated Charcoal and Magnesium balances and mineralizes the skin and includes a scalp and foot massage. A warm Vichy rain gives way to a moisturizing massage with a blend of cocoa and shea butters, touched with essences of Orange, Bergamot, antioxidant-rich Marigold and Black Tea Extracts. November Monthly Retreat: Abundance

December Monthly Retreat: Solstice

Escape to the peaceful tranquility of the forest with the uplifting December Retreat. Pure essences of Red Spruce, Northern White Cedar and Eastern Hemlock blend in a gentle body polish to recreate a nostalgic serenity of the woods. July Monthly Retreat: Tuscan Sun

Whether memory or fantasy, let Tuscan Sun call to mind one of the most beautiful and distinctive corners of the Earth. Essences of Cypress, Blood Orange and Wisteria blend with Mediterranean Sea Salt for an aromatic body polish. A refreshing Vichy rinse and a nourishing olive body butter massage will leave guests glowing and ready to sip an Aperol Prosecco Spritz.

August Monthly Retreat: Pacifica

For August, the package incorporates an Awapuhi scrub butter made with Hawaiian red alaea salt and blended with Geranium, Ylang Ylang and Cedarwood for an exotic aromatic body polish. A gentle Vichy rain gives way to a rhythmic Lomi Lomi style massage, followed by a mouthwatering Mai Tai.

The Front Runner: 2 Hours, $210 (regular $250) H-circle $168
A double-header of the two most popular services for the handsome type: The Sports Buff and The Well-Groomed Man, both designed to leave dad feeling shiny and new. First, a sports massage featuring a custom blend of essential oils with guided stretching and releasing to banish aches and knots. Then, he gets clean as a whistle with an invigorating facial of exfoliation, masque and aromatherapy steam plus a hand and foot massage. Lastly, hit it out of the park with a restorative scalp treatment that makes this package the perfect choice for head-to-toe care.
