From distributor Dark Star Pictures comes the Norwegian (with English subtitles) comedy horror movie Project Z. It is now available to rent or buy on Vudu and Apple TV. ITN Studios has obtained the North American rights to the horror film Night of the Caregiver, directed by Joe Cornet and produced by Alexander Nevsky from a script by Craig Hamann. Stuart Alson negotiated the deal on behalf of ITN Studios along with BD Films Paul Hertzberg on behalf of the filmmakers. (October Coast, 2023)
Starring Eileen Dietz (The Exorcist), Natalie Denise Sperl (Mank), Eric Roberts (Dark Knight), and Cornet, it will get a theatrical and Video On Demand release on August 15 before rolling on digital and DVD platforms this fall.
The plot: Hospice nurse Julia Rowe is hired to be caregiver for Lillian Gresham, who lives in an isolated house in a remote area. Although she is terminally ill, the elderly Lillian is a cordial and sweet lady. However, as the night goes on, Julia suspects something demonic is also dwelling in the house causing she and Lillian to be in grave danger.
Alexander Nevsky produced the movie via his company Hollywood Storm. Joe Cornet, Eric Brenner, and Douglas “Fini” Finical served as executive producers. Sean Murray wrote the music.

End Times follows a pair of mismatched travelers, Claire and Freddie (Bernadette and Stark), as they try to escape a deadly pandemic that has turned Los Angeles into a zombie-infested wasteland. Claire is a privileged young suburbanite ill-equipped to survive in this hostile new landscape, until she meets Freddie, a retired soldier who lost his daughter to the virus. As they travel together to reach the perimeter, Freddie teaches Claire the skills that will enable Claire to survive, and the uneasy partnership between the two grows into something more akin to a father/daughter relationship. Before they can reach safety, the two will have to escape brutal gangs, cannibals, cults, and the undead.

Legend has it that Sebastian has been living among us disguised as a regular civilian named Augustus and is the murderous, revenging spirit that is reborn every 60 years because of the blood of Irene. Sebastian is already climbing Tubi’s most-watched lists, having gone viral on social media the day of its release with opinion leaders in film openly praising the movie. Noted film producer Jan O’Connell compared the film to the popular 1995 film “Se7en” and praised the entire cast and Director Mann Robinson in a tweet. Darius McCrary, who is also a producer on the film, says, “I am honored to have had the pleasure of working with my partner Torrei Hart and the brilliant cast she and Mann assembled. Sebastian is one small step for a brilliant independent filmmaker named Mann and one giant step for all his Mankind.”

The official trailer has dropped for the upcoming action-packed sci-fi adventure movie Space Wars: Quest for the Deepstar, starring Michael Paré, Olivier Gruner, and Sarah French. The movie is set for digital release on May 2, with some theatrical play dates beginning April 21, and has just been selected for screening at this year’s Miami International Science Fiction Film Festival. The film concerns a father-daughter team of space scavengers who must race against a band of evil mercenaries to reach the legendary treasures on board a lost mythical freighter. Their quest will force them to navigate a universe filled with giant monsters, aliens, robots, and a mortal enemy seeking vengeance.
The movie also stars Tyler Gallant, Rachele Brooke Smith, Anahit Setian, Jed Rowen, Elise Muller, and Sadie Katz.
