Broadway in San Antonio relaunches season at the Majestic Theatre

rth Park Lexus Broadway in San Antonio announces the return of touring Broadway to the Majestic Theatre this fall. The season relaunches with seven shows, as previously anticipated, including rescheduled engagements of ‘Disney’s The Lion King,’ ‘Mean Girls,’ and ‘Summer: The Donna Summer Musical,’ plus an eighth show addition of ‘Hamilton’ for its two-week return. ‘Rent’ and ‘Beautiful – The Carole King Musical’ rejoin the lineup as season options. Unfortunately, Broadway in San Antonio was unable to reschedule ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ or Season Option ‘Riverdance.’ ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ will make its San Antonio premiere in a future season. ‘My Fair Lady’ – September 21-26, 2021

‘Hamilton’ – January 5-16, 2022 (Make it an 8-show package)

‘Tootsie’ – March 1-6, 2022

‘Summer: The Donna Summer Musical’ – April 19-24, 2022
She was a girl from Boston with a voice from heaven, who shot through the stars from gospel choir to dance floor diva. But what the world did not know was how Donna Summer risked it all to break through barriers, becoming the icon of an era and the inspiration for every music diva who followed. ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ – July 5-10, 2022

‘Mean Girls’ – August 9-14, 2022

‘Rent’ – March 18-20, 2022 (Season Option)

‘Beautiful – The Carole King Musical’ – June 10-12, 2022 (Season Option)
‘Beautiful’ tells the Tony® and Grammy® Award-winning inspiring true story of King’s remarkable rise to stardom, from being part of a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history.
