The San Antonio community is gearing up for fundraisers to benefit those affected by Hurricane Harvey. On Saturday September 2, Pinch Boil House and Bia Bar is hosting a fundraiser event with Estate Coffee. Pinch Boil House and Bia Bar is a new restaurant set to open next month that will serve Southeast Asian-inspired seafood, street food and beer. The owners, Sean, Andrew and Brian are from Houston and on a mission to support their friends, families and anyone who has been affected by this hurricane. (Pinch Boil House and Bia Bar, 2017)

On Saturday September 2 from 12p.m. to 3:30p.m., guests can visit the restaurant and purchase large shellfish platters for $30. The platters feeds two people and includes shrimp, mussels, local sausage, corn, potatoes, Texas toast and Pinch’s original garlic butter sauce. Estate Coffee will also be selling Vietnamese Iced Coffees. This event is BYOB. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross. The benefit will also have donation jars for anyone wishing to contribute directly to the organization.

Pinch Boil House and Bia Bar will officially open for business on Friday September 8, 2017. The restaurant features and encourages communal dining with its family-style food and promotes a lively atmosphere reminiscent of a crawfish boil experience. It was originally formed as pop-up crawfish boils to support a fun environment for families and communities to enjoy food deeply rooted in Asian culture.
