About the Film

In the heart of the Mississippi Delta, the village of Glendora may seem quiet and remote. Beneath its stillness, however, lies a vibrant, tightly knit African-American community whose strength, resilience, and creativity thrive despite chronic scarcity.

GLENDORA is the result of five years of close collaboration between filmmaker and townspeople, offering an intimate portrait of life where economic fragility meets profound cultural wealth. Told through the voices of multiple generations, the film weaves personal testimonies with daily rituals, birthdays, graduations, weddings, and funerals, capturing the rhythm of a town that continually rises above its circumstances.

As the Mississippi landscape shifts, so do the stories, revealing both the universality of human experience and the distinct textures of rural Southern life. More than a portrait of place, GLENDORA reflects a larger American history shaped by racial injustice, economic neglect, and structural inequality, while underscoring the community’s determination to remain connected and shape its future.

Made with and by the people who live there, GLENDORA amplifies voices too often unheard, offering a powerful story of culture, resilience, creativity, and collective memory from a town long overlooked, but not easily forgotten.

A Haunting & Unforgettable Story

THIS ORDINARY THING recounts the extraordinary acts of non-Jewish individuals who helped save Jewish people across Europe during the Holocaust. Blending never-before-seen archival footage with testimonies from more than forty people, the film sheds light on the quiet bravery of individuals who, acting independently and at great personal risk, saved thousands of Jewish strangers from near-certain death. (EG-PR, 2025)

Narrated by an all-star cast, the documentary serves as a timely reminder of the “pockets of goodness” that can rise within a sea of evil: ordinary people choosing compassion over indifference, even when it meant risking everything.

Strikingly, none of the individuals in the film saw themselves as heroes. Their humility lends the project an urgent resonance, prompting viewers to confront a difficult question: What would I have done?

An Ensemble of the World’s Great Actors

The film features some of the most celebrated actors of our time, performing translated excerpts from original transcripts. The cast, including Helen Mirren, F. Murray Abraham, Carrie Coon, Jeremy Irons, Ellen Burstyn, and Stephen Fry, collectively boast:

  • 5 Academy Awards (and 20+ nominations)
  • 60+ Emmy nominations
  • 25+ Tony nominations

Their performances lend gravitas and emotional depth to the powerful firsthand accounts.

Music by Adam Guettel

The score is composed by Tony Award–winner Adam Guettel, known for The Light in the Piazza, Floyd Collins, and numerous other stage and screen works. His music adds an evocative and haunting layer to the film’s emotional landscape.

About the Series

Suspicious Minds is a weekly video documentary series and podcast exploring the disturbing rise of artificial intelligence as a trigger for delusional thinking. (Emma Griffiths PR, 2025)

Through powerful firsthand accounts and in-depth interviews with leading experts in psychiatry, neuroscience, and AI ethics, the series unpacks a growing psychological phenomenon: individuals developing complex, often life-altering delusions rooted in AI technologies.

From chatbots to surveillance fears, Suspicious Minds examines how emerging technologies reshape paranoia—and how these modern delusions echo, amplify, and challenge our historical understanding of the human mind.

A Deeper Look

The series is led by psychiatrist Dr. Joel Gold and philosopher Ian Gold, PhD, who first described the Truman Show Delusion—a belief that one’s life is secretly a reality TV show, inspired by the Jim Carrey film The Truman Show. Their book, Suspicious Minds: How Culture Shapes Madness, provides the foundation for the series.

With empathy, curiosity, and respect, Suspicious Minds tells real patients’ riveting stories, plunging viewers deep into surreal mental states while following journeys toward treatment and recovery. Alongside, interviews with top psychologists, neuroscientists, ethicists, AI researchers, and cultural critics explore how culture and technology intersect to shape the human mind.

The line between mental wellness and illness is fragile. This series raises urgent questions:

  • How do AI and digital technologies act as new psychological triggers?
  • What does this mean for treatment and prevention?
  • How can we create awareness and destigmatize these modern delusions?

‘Pay Dirt’ Digs Deep: The Explosive History of Supercross

Murder, mystery, and adrenaline – the documentary ‘Pay Dirt: The Story of Supercross’ is now available for screening. Photo: Pay Dirt movie.

Now Streaming: Pay Dirt: The Story of Supercross

Los Angeles, CA – July 18, 2025 – From Monkey Wrench Films, the high-octane, adrenaline-fueled documentary Pay Dirt: The Story of Supercross is now available to rent or buy on Amazon Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. (Cinematic Red PR, 2025)

This gripping film dives deep into one of pop culture’s most riveting and underappreciated motorsports. Combining murder, mystery, and raw athleticism, Pay Dirt isn’t just a documentary—it’s a wild ride through the heart and history of Supercross racing.

A Global Phenomenon, Decades in the Making

Following its theatrical premiere on January 24, 2025, across North America, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, Pay Dirt has captured attention worldwide.

The film traces Supercross’s meteoric rise from its grassroots beginnings in 1972 to the global spectacle it is today. At the core of the story is Michael Goodwin, the controversial figure credited with creating the sport—currently serving a double-life sentence for the murder of his former business partner and his wife.

Behind Bars and Behind the Scenes

Narrated by Oscar nominee Josh Brolin and directed by multi-Emmy winner Paul Taublieb, Pay Dirt blends stunning cinematography with in-depth archival footage and exclusive interviews. The film features insights from the sport’s living legends, including:

  • Jeremy McGrath
  • Bob Hannah
  • Ricky Johnson
  • Ricky Carmichael

With a rare appearance from Michael Goodwin himself—speaking from prison—the documentary unveils both the glory and the shadows that have shaped Supercross into what it is today.

A Story of Courage, Grit, and Recovery

Pay Dirt also highlights the incredible resilience of Supercross athletes. One such story is that of Jimmy Button, a racing star featured in the film, who suffered a devastating injury that led him to found the Road 2 Recovery Foundation—the official charitable partner of the film’s theatrical release.

Pay Dirt is a project born from a deep admiration for the skill, courage, and sacrifices of the incredible athletes of Supercross,” says director Paul Taublieb. “It features an all-star cast of riders, and—speaking from prison—the man who created the sport, Michael Goodwin.”

What the Voices Behind the Film Are Saying

“I don’t like when movies try and dictate how you should feel,” says narrator Josh Brolin. “This movie is not preachy at all. It’s not telling you how to feel. It just is what it is—and I think people really respond to honesty.”

“This movie educates you on the sport of Supercross, from its roots to the glamour and the dark side,” adds Road 2 Recovery Founder Jimmy Button. “New and old fans alike will undoubtedly learn something new watching it for the first time.”

Watch It Now

Whether you’re a longtime fan or brand new to Supercross, Pay Dirt: The Story of Supercross delivers high-speed thrills, emotional depth, and jaw-dropping stories.

New movie release: Christspiracy: The Spirituality Secret

Christspiracy: The Spirituality Secret will be showing in limited theaters on March 24, 2024. Courtesy photo, used with permission.

The highly anticipated film Christspiracy: The Spirituality Secret is the follow up from What the Health, (which sat at #1 on Netflix for weeks and even came back at #1 again recently and is executive produced by Joaquin Phoenix) Cowspiracy, (executive produced by Leonardo DiCaprio) and Seaspiracy. This new movie explores religion and the farming and animal products industry and is in theaters across the United States on March 20 and 24 only, with encores possible, from Trafalgar Releasing as part of the film’s worldwide release. (Christspiracy, 2024)

Christspiracy: The Spirituality Secret – their new film is a dive into Christ’s genuine compassion for ALL living beings including animals and how they uncovered His passion for helping animals – an act of animal activism and kindness that dates all the way back to the days Jesus walked the earth. As Christians across the globe are currently celebrating Lent and draw closer to Palm Sunday and Easter, this is perfect topic to continue to the conversation of how Christ showed his love while here on earth.

Kip Andersen and Kameron Waters show how religious leaders of all faiths have overlooked or even promoted animal exploitation, some thinking they’re teaching what Jesus wanted. Christspiracy asks the question: “Is there an ethical or spiritual way to kill an animal?”

The film features interviews with Oxford University doctors, American priests, and religious leaders from Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. It shows holocaust survivors and community leaders changing what they teach after witnessing the harrowing truth hidden from the public. The film explores humanity’s relationship with animals and how they ended up on the plates of the human species and how we are living on a planet where over 90 billion animals are enslaved and killed, plus nearly 3 trillion fish killed every year as humans empty the oceans.

“Christspiracy: The Spirituality Secret, the latest documentary from Kip Andersen and Kameron Waters, takes us on a philosophical journey to find out the truth in relation to Jesus and the animals. The film explores the answer from many of the world’s religions and exposes unforgiving truths about animal cruelty in the name of religion.” – Oscar-winning actor and animal rights advocate, Joaquin Phoenix.

“Christspiracy: The Spirituality Secret has an exclusive discovery about Jesus Christ that has never been shown in theaters before. We believe what we have unearthed will transform history and the future.” – Kip Andersen, president and founder of AUM Films

In Christspiracy: The Spirituality Secret, the world-exclusive has been at least double-sourced as they have Oxford University doctors plus senior theologians confirming it. Christspiracy includes teachings from Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism too. It reveals what the world’s religions have hidden from people. Was it deliberate or the gravest mistake and atrocity of all time?”

Tickets are available now online for the March 24 showing.

Documentary world premiere: The Elephant 6 Recording Co.

Elephant 6 Collective. Photo: Amy Hairston, used with permission.

The Elephant 6 Recording Co. shares the unique inside story of the collective creative evolution behind the sounds of 1990s psychedelic rock bands Olivia Tremor Control, Neutral Milk Hotel, and The Apples in Stereo— the founding groups behind the Elephant 6 collective, as well as a host of other artists — with inspirational resonance for today’s music makers, and music lovers everywhere. (The Elephant 6 Recording Co., 2022)

Around 1985, a group of Ruston, Louisiana area high schoolers began experimenting with whatever random instruments and gear they could lay their hands on. Moving to other small college towns including Denver, Colorado and Athens, Georgia, their musical coming of age coincides with the new consumer availability of old-school 4 and 8 track recording technology and cassette tapes. Sharing like-minded sensibilities, influenced by past sounds and psychedelia, and with little to distract them, their efforts to create whole new musical worlds become the bands Olivia Tremor Control, Neutral Milk Hotel and The Apples in Stereo, and many more. While the collective grew to a natural breaking point, its founding members overcame obstacles and remained closely bonded, reuniting for tours and still collaborating today.

The Elephant 6 Recording Co. provides insight into this revolutionary era of popular independent music in America, the defiant DIY spirit in music making, and championing the integrity of an authentic quest for artistic expressiveness over the more mainstream image of being a “successful” musician in our fame obsessed times.

Stockfleth, Greg King, Lance Bangs, and executive producer Rob Hatch-Miller after the first screening. The second screening will be on Tuesday, November 15 at 9p.m. (Cinepolis)
