Set for Wednesday August 26,from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Whataburger’s YouTube channel, the live-stream celebration will feature adoptable pets, pool playtime with pups of all shapes and sizes, plenty of dog-friendly cake eating, an orange-and-white striped doghouse and maybe even a shout out to cats. As one of the first cities to roll out delivery, locals can conveniently satisfy their cravings with delivery as an option on Whataburger’s app and online. Whataburger is now offering temporary curbside service during select hours. Drive-thru will be available 24/7 while dining rooms remain closed. As communities work together to help curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Whataburger remains committed to serving our customers, many of whom are working long hours and caring for their families at home. To help, Whataburger has kicked off a temporary new curbside service. Instead of walking your order to your table, they will be walking it to your car. This service is available between 8a.m. and 8p.m. to guests who order online or on the Whataburger App. (Whataburger, 2020)

If you drive an oversized vehicle – such as an 18-wheeler or a firetruck – you can place an order online, park your vehicle nearby and walk up to our curbside employee to pick up your order.

This service is available ONLY between the hours of 8a.m. and 8p.m. for the safety of guests and employees. Whataburger restaurants continue to offer a full menu in the drive-thru 24/7.

Go Orange to fight hunger at Whataburger this month

This week, Whataburger announced their partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank for the tenth consecutive year. The goals is to fight hunger and raise awareness for SA Goes Orange, a month-long campaign during Hunger Action Month in September. (Whataburger, 2019)

From September 1 through 30, Whataburger will host a month-long fundraiser to raise money for the Food Bank. Customers who visit any Bexar County and New Braunfels Whataburger restaurant during that timeframe and donate at least $1 will receive a thank-you coupon good for a free Whataburger with purchase of a medium fry and 32-ounce drink on their next visit. Upcoming SA Goes Orange events include the September 14 and September 28 Volunteer Days at the Food Bank.

On Wednesday, May 8, Whataburger will celebrate the superhero spirit in all of us with an evening of family fun from 5p.m. to 7p.m. Customers can celebrate by dressing up as a superhero. Children 12 and under dressed as a superhero will receive a free kid’s meal and Magic 105.3 will be onsite to join in on the fun. Customers can enjoy a photo booth and enter a raffle where one lucky customer will win free Whataburger for a Year. There will be a special appearance from Whataburger’s mascot, Whataguy. Whataburger fundraiser for Aue Elementary

Whataburger periodically hosts events to help the community and its various schools. These events have ranged from “Oh Whata Nights” to jalapeño eating contests, drawings and raffles. This Thursday March 21 from 4p.m. to 7p.m., Whataburger is hosting a fundraiser to benefit Aue Elementary School. The public is invited to come and show their support by enjoying their favorite menu items and during the posted hours, Whataburger will donate 20 percent of the sales to the school. The first 100 guests will receive a free Whataburger drawstring pencil bag.
