Summer has finally arrived, which means the beloved Peach Truck is making its way back to EVO Entertainment with stops at EVO’s Schertz and Kyle locations. Pickups of delicious, hand-picked peaches and Georgia pecans will be available at both locations by pre-order only, and orders must be placed five days prior to the tour stops. Pickups will take place at EVO Kyle from 9a.m. to 10a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 and at EVO Schertz from 2:30p.m. to 4p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 and from 8a.m.to 9a.m.on Friday,July 22, 2022. After grabbing a box or two of the best peaches around, movie lovers can kick back in one of EVO’s luxury recliners and enjoy the latest summer blockbusters. The middle of summer is the perfect time for National Watermelon Day this Tuesday August 3. Since watermelon is 92% water, it makes for a refreshing summertime treat that can be enjoyed at picnics and family get-togethers. Grilled Watermelon Margarita featuring Twang If you are keeping your distance at home, or just feel like doing something a little extra when it comes to your next Margarita, check out this Grilled Watermelon Margarita by Aaron Pena, owner/bartender at The Squeezebox in San Antonio, TX featuring Twang.
Ingredients: • 1/2 cup fresh grilled Watermelon • 1 ounce fresh squeezed Lime Juice • ¾ ounce Agave syrup – adjust to your taste • 2 ounces Blanco Tequila • 1 cup of Ice Instructions: • Add all ingredients to blender on high speed • Rim glass with Twang-A-Rita Sunrise spice or your favorite Twang salt. • Pour into your rimmed glassware and enjoy.
Lone Star Watermelon Agave Seltzer As August rolls around and temperatures rise, lounging by the pool, lake, river or beach becomes a necessity. Lone Star’s recently launched Agave Hard Seltzers are the perfect treat to take on the go. National Tequila Day is around the corner on Saturday, July 24, and whether you like your tequila in a glass or a croissant, frozen or on the rocks, these local businesses have the perfect way to celebrate. For an at-home celebration, Twang is sharing a delicious Cerveza Rosa recipe, while San Antonio staple La Panadería is serving up house blend frozen margaritas in addition to their traditional Tequila Almond Croissants.
