Pride month, celebrated annually in June, honors the LGBTQ+ community’s resilience, struggles, and achievements. It commemorates the Stonewall riots of June 1969, a pivotal moment in LGBTQ+ history, sparking the modern gay rights movement. Throughout the month, diverse events, parades, and activities promote visibility, acceptance, and equality. It’s a reminder of the ongoing fight for LGBTQ+ rights worldwide and the importance of fostering a society where everyone can live openly and authentically.
