He has also translated major Italian poets such as Eugenio Montale and Patrizia Cavalli into Spanish. About the Translator

Curtis Bauer is a poet and award-winning translator of Spanish-language prose and poetry. He has received the PEN/Heim Translation Fund Grant and a fellowship from the Banff International Literary Translation Centre. His translation of Jeannette Clariond’s Image of Absence won the International Latino Book Award for Best Nonfiction Book Translation.
