Magik Theatre Presents A Charlie Brown Christmas — A Heartwarming Holiday Tradition

San Antonio, TX – Magik Theatre is kicking off the holiday season with a festive family favorite: a charming stage adaptation of the classic A Charlie Brown Christmas. Sponsored by Whataburger and Valero, the production runs November 22–December 24 and invites audiences of all ages to rediscover the joy, simplicity, and spirit of the holidays. This faithful retelling follows Charlie Brown as he searches for the true meaning of Christmas. Surrounded by decorations and seasonal cheer, he still senses something missing. With help from Lucy, Linus, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang, he takes on directing the school Christmas play hoping it will bring clarity and connection. Featuring Vince Guaraldi’s iconic score and Charles M. Schulz’s gentle humor, the production is perfect for both longtime fans and children experiencing the Peanuts magic for the first time.

The super limited-time Whataburger Birthday Shake will be available after August 8 while quantities last. In addition to the shakeover, Whataburger is celebrating with the community by fulfilling $74,000 worth of teacher supplies wish lists throughout August as part of the Whataburger Feeding Student Success charitable giving program. On August 8, Whataburger will post on X (formerly Twitter) asking its followers to nominate teachers in their lives who could use some help buying school supplies for the new year. The brand will fulfill wish lists until $74,000 is spent!

Whataburger’s signature Breakfast On A Bun® is a top choice for a savory start. To satisfy a craving that is both sweet and savory, the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit is the way to go and pairs perfectly with a Mocha Iced Coffee. For a spicy kick, breakfast lovers can try the Jalapeno Cheddar Biscuit and grab a Hot Coffee. With a menu chock full of classic favorites, any coffee + breakfast entrée combination creates a dynamic duo, just like you like it.

For guests who order a Whataburger breakfast meal (which comes with a hot coffee), they will be offered another free Hot or Iced Coffee to keep them extra fueled or to share with a friend.

Whataburger’s new Hot and Iced Coffees are a premium blend of 100% Arabica beans from Colombia, Honduras and Nicaragua. They have the bold aroma of dark-roasted coffee with a vibrant finish and smoky, nutty flavors. Guests can customize their Iced Coffee with one of three new flavor selections: Vanilla, Caramel or Mocha.

To celebrate National French Fry Day, Whataburger will offer its customers a free order of medium fries through the Whataburger app on Friday, July 12. Existing app customers will have the offer pre-loaded onto their accounts and ready for redemption on National French Fry Day.

The Whataburger Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich isn’t just a fan favorite, it’s legendary. Back by popular demand and right in time for summer, the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich returns to heat up Whataburger’s menu again in 2024. 

Load up on extra napkins before you sink your teeth into three crispy Whatachick’n® Strips smothered in Whataburger’s original spicy Buffalo Sauce and topped with cool Buttermilk Ranch and two slices of Monterey Jack cheese, all on a five-inch bun. On Thursday, June 20, Whataburger is helping fans make the most of the Summer Solstice with a free Iced Coffee. The 16-ounce iced coffee will be available from 6a.m. to 6p.m. in local time zones and can be customized “just like you like it” with one of their three new flavors — Vanilla, Caramel or Mocha.
